I’m so thankful for 2014 – I enjoyed it more than I thought.
To start off, I chop my hair and kept the look all year long, even cut it shorter, I felt certain liberty with it and I’m having so much fun with this look. Other highlights of my year include blogging for The Street Styler, my 2 year anniversary with the love of my life and a lot of events including fashion week and weddings!
Also, I moved out  from the apartment I lived all my college years with my two wonderful roomates (that after all those years of happy-cry-stress moments became more like sisters) and moved to the city I love the most, New York. This moving changed my life, I’m happy to be able to work in the field I love and the one I work so hard to get into – I’m grateful to had the chance to meet new extremely talented people that now I call my friends and to be able to explore my creativity in a city where anyone can accomplish anything as long as you want it badly and you work for it.
I feel so blessed to have my family, my boyfriend and friends supporting me and loving me every step of the way – 2015 will be new, mysterious and with a lot of changes… amazing-good changes!
Always remember to never loose faith, take every opportunity as it comes, Don’t let anybody make you believe you dream too high,  always look forward and never, not for one instant, doubt of yourself.
Thank you all for being part of my year!
Love,
S

Finally is starting to feel like a real winter, which means pulling out all the chunky sweaters and socks.
For somebody like me that is used to temperatures above 100’s, this is an interesting experience. With the first cold day (which was nothing compare to is what’s yet to come) not even layering all my light-weight pieces was enough.
One thing is going on vacations to Colorado, enjoying the snow and the outdoor activities to come back to your cozy cabin, put on your cashmere pajamas and enjoy a nice cup of hot coco by the fire… well, that just lasts for a couple of days and does NOT happen in our everyday lives so, I definitely need to start working on my real winter essentials.
Chunky sweaters, fur and boots, that’s what comes to my mind. This cute navy sweater with fur on the sleeves is one of my favorites. Not only is appropriate for day-to-night but it is actually really warm in the inside!
Sunday walks around South Street Seaport are becoming my favorite, and now next to my photographer Jessie I will be able to bring you more breathless sights in the city that never sleeps.
Love,
S

Blazer: Lauren Conrad / T-shirt: H&M / Skort: Zara / Shoes: Rock & Republic / Sunnies: Free People
This happened to be my longest weekend thanks to the 4th of July celebrations happening around New York City. Personally that means time to check out the beautiful views of the city and play with my wardrobe a little bit. How to make an outfit more dressy? Just add a pair of heels and a statement piece.
In this case I wanted to use more white which is a clean and classy color for the summer. To make it more interesting I added my floral print blazer and a pair of mid-heel royal blue shoes. I love the trendy Zara white skort because it cant be worn from day to night, be it with a sweater and heels or denim and flats. The weather might be getting hotter but that doesn’t mean you have to wear flip flops all the time.
Love,
S
