In Between Seasons.. and Colors

That moment when cold to hot season starts arriving. It is normal to feel awkward and having “nothing to wear” but mixing and matching can get fun – I love my oversized sweatshirt with faux fur on the sides so before saying good-bye for a couple of months I wore it with a maroon pencil skirt and a pair of nude sandals. I love the contrast of both sober colors yet the nude gives a little Spring peek-a-boo, don’t you think?

Ese momento cuando el clima entre frio y caliente empieza a llegar. Es normal sentirse raro y “no tener nada que usar” pero combinar y mezclar prendas puede ser divertido – Yo amo mi sudadera oversized con peluche en las mangas, así que antes de decirle adios por algunos meses, me lo puse con una falda pegada color marron y un par de sandalias nude. Me encanta el contraste de ambos colores sobrios pero aun asi, el color nude da un pequeño vistazo de la primavera en el look, no lo creen?

Cold Mornings

These last couple of days I’ve been waking up to cold mornings, those mornings where you just think about a cup of tea, staying in bed with a blanket and watch your favorite TV shows on Netflix. However, there’s always work to do, events to attend and calories to burn at the gym (yes, trying to get the beach body back.) For these chilly days I’ve been wearing my black leggings with oversized sweaters but then I realized, where’s the fun in that? No matter the weather or the laziness there are always creative ways to update your wardrobe; instead of pants or leggings take out your favorite skirt with cool tights or over the knee boots. 
 Even though the bed and your favorite flannel pajama calls your name to stay home, find motivation and think about layers, flirty and fun! Trust me, a cool skirt and killer boots may not be the solution to your problems but they always bright up your day.

We’ll Never be Royals

The transition of seasons is the best. For many people it is all about buying a new wardrobe, but for me it is about experimenting. Mixing summer and winter pieces to create neutral looks for the unexpected temperature changes is what I enjoy the most. This outfit is a good example – black trousers are one of my favorite pieces since they’re not tight yet give a flattering silhouette to the body because of their high waist. I wear them either for work or for a night out. Also, this cold season is all about anything oversized! I love blazers and chunky sweaters, and this royal blue blazer completes the look by making it a bit more fun and dramatic.
